Shorter visible wavelengths are generally absorbed closer to the surface. Red and near-infrared light can travel relatively deeper. Skin properties and the light source also shape that journey.

Green is the shortest visible wavelength used in this mask. Its interaction with skin depends on absorption and scattering, as well as the skin itself.
590 nm. Yellow light.
Yellow sits between green and red in the visible spectrum. Its interaction with skin depends on absorption and scattering, as well as the properties of the skin itself.
660 nm. Red light.
Red light has a longer wavelength than green or yellow light. Light is absorbed and scattered as it travels through skin; wavelength is only one part of that process.
850 nm. Beyond visible light.
